Youth counselling

Support built for young people.

We take you seriously, and we start from where you are.

What is youth counselling?

Counselling for young people

Youth counselling gives young people their own space to talk through what's going on, with someone who takes them seriously.

Being young right now is hard. Social media, school pressure, identity questions, relationships and working out who you are all happen while the world keeps changing. Young people deserve proper support with these.

Our youth counsellors know how to connect with young people. Sessions are honest, supportive conversations with practical tools.

Who is this for?

  • Young people aged 12-25 going through tough times
  • NDIS participants with counselling in their plan
  • Young people with ADHD, autism, or anxiety
  • Teens struggling with school, friendships, or identity
  • Young people going through big life changes
  • Those who've tried to talk to adults and felt dismissed
How we work with young people

Conversation, plus tools you can use.

We meet you where you're at, on your own terms

No assumptions about what's hard. We ask, we listen, and we take your experience seriously.

You set the pace

No pressure to dive into the difficult topics before you're ready. Sessions go at your speed.

Practical tools alongside conversation

We give you things you can use between sessions, for managing anxiety, handling relationships, or understanding yourself better.

Parents and carers are part of the picture, when you want them to be

Confidentiality is respected. We involve family only when it's helpful and you're comfortable with it.

Need support?

For the young person or the parent, reach out and we'll figure out the best way forward together. NDIS & fee-for-service available.

Cost, eligibility & getting started

The questions people ask before their first session.

What it costs

Pricing for youth counselling follows the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits. What you pay depends on the session type and whether it falls on a weekday, evening, or weekend. Sessions are also available privately (self-funded) or through other schemes if NDIS doesn't apply. Cost is always confirmed in writing before anything starts.

Am I eligible?

Youth-focused therapeutic support usually sits under NDIS Capacity Building, most often Improved Daily Living, with Improved Relationships also relevant where family or social work is involved. If a young person's plan includes that funding, it can usually be used here. A support coordinator or plan manager can help check.

Where we work

We're based in Thomastown and work across Greater Melbourne, including the northern, western, and eastern suburbs. Sessions are also available online for young people who prefer telehealth. Some support extends into regional Victoria too.

How to start

Reach out by phone, our contact form, or email. The first conversation is about what you're looking for, and you share as much as you want to. From there we match you with a practitioner who suits you, usually within a few business days.
