Just you and a counsellor who listens.
One-on-one counselling around what's going on in your life, with warmth and experience in every session.
A one-on-one space that's yours.
Individual counselling is a one-on-one space between you and a qualified counsellor. It's for processing what's going on in your life, the difficult things, the confusing parts, and the "I don't even know how to put this into words" moments.
There's no template here. We work with what's happening for you, whether that's persistent anxiety, a sadness you're carrying, grief you don't know what to do with, or feeling stuck.
Our approaches include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic, Humanistic/Person-Centred, Interpersonal, Solution-Focused, and elements of Play Therapy.

Anxiety & Worry
Racing thoughts, avoidance, the constant bracing for something to go wrong. Let's work on that.
Explore →Depression & Low Mood
When getting out of bed feels like a full-day project. We work through it step by step.
Explore →Grief & Loss
Loss doesn't follow a timeline. Whether it was recent or years ago, we make room for it.
Explore →Stress Management
When everything feels urgent and you're running on empty. Practical tools you can use straight away.
Explore →Self-Esteem
The inner critic that never quiets down. We work on your relationship with yourself.
Explore →Anger & Emotions
Anger is usually about something deeper. We help you understand it and respond differently.
Explore →Sessions are unhurried and conversational.
You talk, we listen, properly
Your first sessions are about us understanding what's going on for you, the full picture.
We build a picture together
We figure out what's driving what, the patterns, the triggers, the history. This shapes the plan.
You get practical tools
Strategies you can use between sessions, ones that fit how you think and how you live.
We adjust as we go
If something's not working, we change it. Each session responds to where you're at that week.
You leave with something each session
Every session should leave you with something: a new way of looking at things, a skill, some clarity.

What it costs
Pricing follows the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits. What a session costs depends on the type of session and whether it's a weekday, evening, or weekend. You can also access counselling privately, without NDIS funding. Cost is always confirmed in writing before anything starts.
Am I eligible?
Individual counselling is typically funded under Capacity Building, Improved Daily Living. If your plan includes that funding, you can use it here. If you're unsure what's in your plan, your support coordinator or plan manager can check. You don't need a diagnosis to reach out.
Where we work
We're based in Thomastown and work across Greater Melbourne, including the northern, western, and eastern suburbs. Sessions are also available online through telehealth, and some support extends into regional Victoria.
How to start
Reach out by phone, our contact form, or email. The first conversation is about what you're looking for, and you share as much as you want to. From there we match you with a counsellor who suits you, usually within a few business days.
Counselling starts with one conversation.
Give us a call and we'll plan the first one together.
